Meet the upcoming artist Jeff Stones. He is from North Miami Beach, Florida.
He has been making music since 2012. He started with his best friends, DJ PCM and Ballaroine. In 2013, he started releasing music independently. Since then, it has been a nonstop roller coaster because being an independent artist has its challenges. A lot of funding comes out of pocket and with that comes sacrificing other finances and personal things. Being the music industry has no guarantees for success, so you have to put your all in and give it your best shot.
In 2019 Jeff Stone started to change his ways of identity and his ways of music. Before, he felt like he was giving into what people wanted him to be like and sound like musically, and not who he wanted to be. He was going through a lot in his life and opening up to people about his issues came hard to him. He did not want to be judged or misunderstood. He lost his relationship with his father and was having difficulties with his mother. Not being able to reach out to his parents for a conversation or advice did damage Stone. He found himself distant towards other people. His music is now an outlet which he is proud of. He is becoming more open and realizing that he’s not alone through his challenges. Everybody goes through struggles one way or another, and it’s important to know that you’re not alone. Music has helped Stone cope and become more content with who he is becoming.
Jeff Stones’s music style is melodic rap. He raps and sings, depending on how he feels. His most successful track is a single titled “Wave.” It was released in 2019 produced by Element Jetson. His single released in 2017 titled “Party In The Backyard” produced by Havens Fedrick is one of his classics that has become successful as well. His tracks such as “Devils Playmate” (2019) and “Hate Being Broke” are also a couple of his ear catching hits. A few artists that inspire him are Jay Z, Who inspires him entirely. Bone thugs and T-Pain are his sound inspiration.
